Working remotely has become a way of life for millions of Americans during the ongoing global health crisis. This adds to the stress many people already feel in trying to separate their work life from their home life. Here are a few tips from Plaisance Law to help you improve your new work-from-home reality:

Dedicated Space: Even if it’s just a corner table and chair, have a dedicated space for work. Don’t mix home space with work space.

Timing is Everything: Wake up at the normal time, start working at the normal time.

Dress for Success: Just because you work from home doesn’t mean pajama city. A suit might be much, but gym shorts may not elevate your mind to work levels.

Don’t Forget Breaks: If you usually take a morning coffee break or an afternoon brisk walk, continue to do so.

Leave it at Work: Whatever time you normally leave work should continue. Unless it’s necessary, leave “work at work.”
